Does apple cider vinegar help people with diabetes?
Scientists have yet to conduct significant clinical research to back up the majority of the health claims made about apple cider vinegar. However, some evidence suggests that apple cider vinegar may have specific benefits for diabetes management.

Studies on the effect of apple cider vinegar on blood sugar levels are typically small and yield mixed results.
The majority of research on apple cider vinegar has focused on its ability to lower blood sugar. Both types of diabetes were present in the groups.
According to the review, apple cider vinegar caused a small but significant reduction in HbA1c results after 8-12 weeks. HbA1c levels reflect a person's blood glucose levels over a period of several weeks or months.
Short-term blood glucose levels improved significantly in groups taking apple cider vinegar 30 minutes after consumption. However, after this time period, the differences between the vinegar and control groups decreased.
